MFFCA Awards

In 2023, Dan Michalchuk (left) receives his Honorary Life MFFCA Member award from MFFCA President Shayne Cormier. Dan is a former MFFCA Director/President and current Treasurer.

2024 Howie Smith/Bill Metzler Sportsmanship Award is given to Tony Fehr of Plum Coulee F.D

Bob (R.H.) Poole was inducted as a CFFCA Life Member at the 2023 Canadian Championship held in Charlottetown, PEI.

Manitoba Fallen Firefighters Foundation $5000

In November 2023, MFFCA Treasurer, Dan Michalchuk presents (R-L) Tom Bilous, President of the Manitoba Fallen Fire Fighters Foundation and UFFW members, Derek Balcaen and Robert Campbell a cheque for $5000 for the Manitoba Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Louis Riel School Division Trust $5000

In 2022, the CFFCA and the MFFCA are proud to donate to the Louis Riel School Division Feeding the Families Initiative. Darcy Cormack, Assistant Superintendent, receives the donation cheque from the President of the Manitoba Fire Fighters Curling Association, Shayne Cormier.
